Bonfire Night and other Adventures

Well, my wee holiday is going okay. First thing I got sorted is a decent place to sleep - wasn't going to share a bed with him anyway, so I'm all sorted now.

I'll say one thing for him: he has a great house to watch the fireworks from. I got to watch the fireworks at Glasgow Green (and everywhere else) from his window. He seemed to just read his book that night though. Loser.

I was rather disturbed the other day though. Turns out they're making a film about me! Well, not me as such; me and all the other smurfs. Weird to see yourself played by someone else though. Don't think they've captured my good looks but they apparently got Fred Armisen to play me, which is okay, I guess. Liking Smurfette though...

Other than that, the weather's pretty much kept me inside the last few days. Hopefully can get up to more soon. I have found ways to entertain myself while I've been inside though, and I also found out why he doesn't like me on his computer. He, um, caught me looking at stuff he'd prefer I didn't. Sure I can sneak back on to blog again at some point though.

My holiday begins

I've decided to think of this as a holiday. I mean, I guess I never asked to go anywhere, and she sort of assumed I'd be cool with just going to live with some guy I hardly know, but I'm hoping to make the most of it. I'm staying with this guy in Glasgow and he's a bit of a jerk sometimes, but I guess he's okay.

I was quite tired when I arrived. It was a lot of hassle seeing her rushing about trying to get ready for her holiday, so as soon as I arrived I was grateful to get a nap.

So there I was, enjoying a nice nap, happy to just relax for a bit and acquaint myself with the new house, when the guy I mentioned decided it would be a good idea to go for a trip. We're talking like in the middle of the night. He's a lot bigger than me so there wasn't much I could really do, and decided just to go along.

I only went along so far though. When I got there, I wasn't getting out of the car. I'm not an idiot. He could go out in that rain but I wasn't going to get myself wet. I was quite happy just to sit in the car and look forward to getting back in his house.

We got back home anyway. He says he went because he realised there was no milk in the house and thought he'd do his parents a favour for the morning. I reckon he was just scoping the place for cheap games, but to be fair, he brought me back a bite to eat. Thought I spotted a pal too but I was mistaken.

Anyway, he's playing his xbox now. I'm just jumping on his computer while he's popped to the toilet. He didn't seem too keen on me using his computer - like I said, he's a bit of a jerk sometimes - but I guess it won't hurt him. I'm sure I'll get on and will try to write some more here when I get a chance.
